The most common form of stratos-automata in widespread use by the Mechanicum Taghmata, the Vultarax is a robust, multi-role war engine drawn from ancient pre-Imperial STC designs. Heavily armed, fitted with sophisticated sensory gear, and able to operate in diverse and hostile environments, it serves as a keystone of Explorator expeditionary forces – both as an armed, high-mobility scout, and as a rapid response unit in open battle.
This multipart resin kit builds one Vultarax stratos-automaton, an eerie hovering robot. The Vultarax is armed with a powerful arc blaster, secured beneath its hull between a pair of dangling mechadendrite feelers. It also features two havoc launchers, one mounted to either side of its segmented carapace, above the bladed turbines of the stratos thrusters that carry it aloft. This model features a degree of posability, and its havoc launchers can be assembled gluelessly, allowing you to adjust their positioning as you choose.
This kit comprises 25 resin components, and is supplied with a Citadel 100mm Round Base and a Citadel Large Flying Stem. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints.
