Защитники Улья – тяжело-бронированные твари, вооружённые чрезвычайно мощными симбиотическими био-орудиями. Они созданы для охраны Кораблей-Ульев Тиранидов и капиллярных башен, появляющихся на захватываемых планетах-жертвах. С помощью своего вооружения, они способны справиться практически с любым вторгшимся на их территорию противником. Защитники Тирана – превосходные существа-телохранители, главной функцией которых является охрана и защита Тирана Улья. Они представляют собой нечто вроде огромных живых щитов, броню которых не может пробить даже достаточно мощное оружия противника.
Набор состоит из 102 пластиковых деталей, с помощью которых можно собрать либо 3 Защитников Улья, либо 3 Защитников Тирана.
Набор требует сборки и покраски. Клея и красок в наборе нет.
Hive Guard are heavily armoured gun-beasts bound to extremely powerful symbiotic bio-weapons. They are created to guard the Tyranid Hive Ships and capillary towers that stand sentinel over prey worlds, until such time as intruders come within range of their deadly weapons. Tyrant Guard are the ultimate bodyguards, it is the entire purpose of their creation to protect their Hive Tyrant. They take the form of colossal living shields, all but impervious to even the heaviest weapons.
Both kits share the same body, heads and hind legs, as well as the choice of a pair of unarmoured secondary arms or rending claws (one of which holds the severed head of a Space Marine).
The Hive Guard models can be armed with either an impaler cannon or shockcannon. There are enough weapons to arm the complete unit with either option.
The Tyrant Guard can be armed with a pair of crushing claws; bone sword and lash whip; or a pair of scything talons. There are 3 sets of each weapon option, allowing the entire unit to armed identically. As well as this, each Tyrant Guard can be modelled with battle damaged shoulder armour.
This plastic kit contains 102 components with which to make either 3 Hive Guard or 3 Tyrant Guard.
